On the afternoon of September 23, 2011, China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA) Vice Minister Li Jiping, Beijing Food and Drug Administration Vice Minister Yuan Lin, and Huairou Bureau Chief Lu Tianqi came to Beijing Honglin pharmaceutical company located in the Huairou Yanqi Industrial Development Zone in Beijing, for a site visit and investigation.

Vice Minister Li Jiping and other leaders firstly listened to the work report done by Dr. Zhou Xinteng, the deputy general manager of our company. They received information about the company’s basic information, product research and development direction, production overview and sales situation. They then participated in a forum with related personnel of the company to discuss quality control issues and technological innovation. Finally, they visited the company’s drug production workshop, and asked about the key device in the production of osmotic pump controlled-release tablets, namely a fully automatic laser-beam drilling machine.The device is the laser-beam drilling machine with on-line detection ability and automatic waste rejection functions. Vice Minister Li Jiping commended Beijing Honglin pharmaceutical company for owning independent intellectual property rights of sustained and controlled release technology, and encourage Beijing Honglin to continuously take the path of technological innovation, play the advantages of preparation technology, and better develop the preparation industry.
